Evan Almighty is the follow up to the movie Bruce Almighty. This movie stars Steve Carell as “Evan Baxter” and Morgan Freeman as God himself. Evan’s wife, “Joan”, is played by Lauren Graham.

Evan Baxter is a newly elected congressman living in Virginia. He starts receiving supplies that he didn’t order and God appears to him and wants him to build an ark. Animals in pairs start showing up all around him as he flounders with the idea of putting his life aside to build this ark.

Chaos and hilarity ensues as his life is run amok over this decision. He doesn’t know why for sure that he has to build this ark, but he feels he needs to, and also has little choice!

Good movie if you just want to share a few laughs with the family.
